As a born and raised St. Louisian and recent Columbia transplant, I am excited to be a part of the Boone County Schools Mental Health Coalition. I completed my undergraduate studies at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY and subsequently worked for a nonprofit in St. Louis that provided arts education programs in inner-city schools. This experience ignited my passion for working with youth and adolescents in school settings. I then decided to pursue my Masters Degree in Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, concentrating in Mental Health and School Social Work. While completing my coursework, I gained valuable experience working in a St. Louis County public school district with students grades K-12. In this role I provided crisis intervention services, individual and group counseling, and assisted with the completion of special education and 504 evaluations. I am thrilled to expand on this experience and assist Boone County schools and families! In my free time I enjoy coaching with Girls on the Run, cooking, watching the latest documentaries, and spending time with my husband and two dogs.
